Stars are born and stars die. The Sun is in constant movement as it lives its life in our universe. The earth revolves around the sun. Mountains erode; oceans are forever in movement, and all the greenery on this earth sprout, reproduce, and fade away. Skyscrapers, bridges and steel strongboxes decay. Change is built into our world.
All the cells within our bodies replace themselves every seven years. Our bones, our brains, our muscles, our personalities are born, manifest, and are ever-changing. The human population is constantly moving through the cycles of birth and death. And there’s always another human being arriving on the scene.
We are change. Yet somewhere inside we hold on to a belief in stability. Indeed, much of our time is devoted to finding it. And we are troubled when we are faced with the fact of change. This very sequence is a cause of much unhappiness. Hmmm
